Whenever I do special events, whether a wedding, party or other special event, I put my creativity and artistic ability to use as much as in any other photography assignment.   I basically have 2 goals in any special event photography: to be non-intrusive, yet friendly and approachable, and to deliver candid photographs that capture the experience, event, and story. 

My style is la combination of traditional, photojournalistic and modern: I like to tell a story in a beautiful, artistic manner.  For more posed photographs and formals, I use a combination of romantic/ethereal and fun styles.

I use only professional equipment and the highest quality film for optimal sharpness and beautiful colour - the difference is noticeable. I carry a variety of lenses for creativity; everything from wide-angle for those landscapes and interiors and macro for those small details. in addition, for large, fast-paced events, I will have an assistant with me to ensure the day progresses in a timely and organized fashion.

I understand that most people do not like having a camera pointed at them for a wide variety of reasons.  Some people feel that it's intrusive, while others feel that they are just not photogenic.  I go to great lengths to ensure that you, your group or family are completely comfortable with me.  I think my work speaks for itself.

I also use the most flattering lighting and technique to make sure you are putting your best face forward.  Creatively, I truly want to give you something beautiful and unique.  Black and white prints can be hand painted, or toned in sepia or blue, which often makes for beautiful, artistic display.

• Clear, straightforward pricing with no hidden costs .  You may keep all proofs, and if you desire, a copy on disk as well.  All photographs may be used for personal display purposes.  If required, editorial use can be negotiated.
