Our daughter, Janna checked out photographers on the web for her wedding set for June 25, 2005. She liked the work of Jay Gaune and after several enquiries, arranged Jay as her photographer. 

Jay and his assistant arrived very well prepared and immediately set a positive mood for the day. He established a warm and friendly rapport with all the wedding party including extended family and friends. He dedicated the whole day to an eclectic series of photos, which made the day a truly memorable event.

We were very pleased with his pictures from the dressing room to the ceremony, to the photo session, to the reception and the dance and all that have seen the finished product have been duly impressed. His talent for the right shots whether they were formal or impromptu were evident with his body of work. He had great ideas at the garden photo shoot but also allowed some suggested shots by the bridal party to personalize the day. His commitment to perfection, his desire to create a lasting impression of Janna and Mark's special day and his ability to make everyone relax and enjoy his creations were unparalleled. His service was prompt and his passion for his work was captured in every shot. We would recommend Jay to anyone and are very grateful that we had Jay for our daughter's wedding day.
